AVFD Community Events
The Arrowhead Volunteer Fire Dept. arranges events and fund raisers such as the Annual Community Picnic (usually the 1st Saturday in July), the Pancake Breakfast (usually during the Labor Day weekend), and other events throughout the year. In the event of a fire these events/fundraisers ensure that our firefighters are well-fed and arrange for overnight lodging as needed. The AVFD schedules fundraiser meetings on an “as-needed” basis. Fundraiser meeting dates and times will be announced on this website and our Facebook page. Generally they will be held the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM at the firehouse. The community is encouraged to attend and participate.
